The lifecycle of a bet

How a bet runs, start to finish

Every bet on BetGlobal follows the same five stages. Nothing is priced by us and nothing is settled by us unless you disagree.

Stage 01

You write the bet

A title, a description of exactly what settles it, your stake, and the odds you want. Pick a category and, if it matters, an expiry date.

Minimum stake $0.01 · odds from 0.1:1
Stage 02

It goes on the board

Your stake is held from your balance and the bet becomes visible to everyone. Anyone except you can take the other side at the odds you set.

Public and verifiable from the moment it posts
Stage 03

Both stakes lock

When someone accepts, their stake is held too. Neither side can withdraw the money while the bet is live.

Taker stake = your stake × the odds
Stage 04

The creator calls it

After the event, the creator declares whether they won or lost. The taker then confirms or disputes that call.

Expired bets that nobody took are refunded in full
Stage 05

Agreement, or review

If both agree, the whole pot moves to the winner immediately. If not, the taker opens a dispute with a written reason and evidence, and an administrator decides against the bet's stated terms.
